Was aided by: Glossary of terms: A terminologist extracted technical terms in the source documents and all linguists added terms on an ongoing basis, which were then reviewed and approved by the terminologist. Live CAT: The use of a live CAT tool enabled real-time collaboration between translators, editors, and legal reviewers to ensure translation and consistency issues were preemptively avoided, and if an issue arose, it was dealt with in real time between the parties involved.
A backup team of sworn translators was in place to replace/support anyone in the core team, if needed. A time buffer was provided at the end of each step of the workflow to accommodate for +/- 10% in delivery.
The translation was completed and submitted to the client on the fifth day. There were internal delays that were mitigated by the buffer times, early detection of delays, and responsive replacement of 2 out of 72 team members.
